There is nothing quite like the bittersweet flavour of a classic orange marmalade. Using mandarins makes it a little bit sweeter and with some added lemon juice providing a tiny burst of tart flavour to balance it all out!
We use the whole fruit to give a more dense texture unlike the more traditional way of cutting the rind into strips. We find the method of boiling the whole fruit and then putting it through our special process creates a much more intense aroma. A true breakfast classic, enjoy some on toast accompanied with a nice cup of tea or coffee. Some of our regulars also use it in their spiced rum and ginger ale!
